Apt "Gretl" is located in a 200 year old Watermill in the pretty alpine village of Viehhofen, close to the larger Saalbach/Hiterglemm. Our exact location is Bachmuhle strasse 30, Viehhofe 5752, Salzburgerland. The old Watermill, has been renovated in recent years creating just 8 beautiful apartments offering superb accommodation for short term holidays, both Summer and Winter. Ideal for families and small groups of 6.

Located just a short walk from the centre of the village where you will find all local amenities such as restaurants, bars, bank/ATM, well stocked supermarket. Viehhofen an boast its own well run ski school for adults and children from age 3 yrs old with a warm activity room to keep them over lunchtime if you want the freedom to ski all day.
There is just a short ski-bus ride to the main "Ski Circus" region where you will find over 200Kms of slopes and 55 lifts systems. It is possible to ski back to the the village of Viehhofen on a blue run stopping off at the many mountain restaurants and bars on the way back,you can cut-off the run close to the bottom and ski directly back to the Chalet on the hillside. .Nearby are the popular Ski resorts of Zell-am See/Kaprun where there is athe Kitsteinhorn Glacier which offers skiing all the year round.
